Easter 2010
Celebrating Easter this year on April 4th, Bennison's is happy to offer a selection of items for the holiday. We will be open on Saturday, April 3rd from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and Easter Sunday, April 4th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. While we do have extra items in the store for sale, we do ask that you please call and order ahead, to be sure you can get what you want.
Lamb Cakes are a Bennison's Easter tradition. We offer three varieties: Buttermilk pound cake with buttercream icing, chocolate pound cake with chocolate icing, and buttermilk poundcake with buttercream icing covered in coconut flake.
Lamb Cakes are $24.95 each and available until Easter Sunday. Please call the day before you want one to order, so we can have time to make what you'd like!
Another Bennison's tradition is our Easter Egg Cakes. We make two varieties of these, chocolate cake with chocolate glaze icing (pictured), or yellow cake with yellow glaze icing. Each one is hand decorated with a spring floral design.

Along with our large decorated egg cakes, we have two miniature versions in two varieties each, either yellow cake with yellow icing filled with buttercream,or chocolate cake with chocolate icing filled with buttercream (pictured).Choose from either the egg decorated with flowers in a variety of colors, or the bunny decoration.
Mini Eggs and Mini Bunnies are both $3.49, and available until Easter Sunday.
Our custom cookies are sure to make anyone smile. Our rabbit and chick cookies are a staple that we make every year. This year, we've also made cookies with marzipan figures on them in the shape of rabbits, chicks, and ducks. Rabbit and chick iced butter cookies are $2.01, and marzipan figure cookies are $7.99 each. Both are available until Easter Sunday.
Each Easter we take our traditional egg bread, and dye the dough different seasonal colors. Braided together and baked, it comes out as a loaf that's perfect for decoration, but even better when eaten.
Rainbow Easter Bread is $5.69 per loaf, and is available until Easter Sunday. Call ahead for large orders, please!
